Create LINE Provider & Channel
Go to the LINE Developers Console, create a Provider, and add a "Messaging API" channel.

Fill Configuration (.env)
Copy your Channel Secret and Channel Access Token from LINE, and paste them into the .env file in your project folder.

Set Webhook in LINE Console
Copy the Webhook URL above, paste it into the Messaging API tab in LINE Developers Console, and toggle Use Webhook to ON.

Scan Bot QR Code
Scan the QR code displayed in the Messaging API tab to add your bot on LINE, then link students to test!

LINE Admin & Backup Config

Pushes CSV backups directly to your LINE chat. Type whoami to your LINE bot to find your ID.
Your bot's LINE ID (e.g. @123abcde). Displays on setup instructions.
From LINE Developer Console. Masked if already set.
From LINE Developer Console (Long-lived token). Masked if already set.
Sends a backup to Admin ID every 24 hours. Disable to save quota (you can still get it for free by texting ๅ‚™ไปฝ).
LINE Backup is not configured. Set the Admin User ID above to enable backups.

Direct Web Backup

Download a complete CSV database backup directly to your computer. This is 100% free and does not use any LINE Messaging API messages.

SMTP Email Backup Settings

Automatically emails a CSV database backup file to you nightly.
The Gmail account that will send the emails.
The 16-character passcode generated in your Google settings. Masked if set.
Where the nightly CSV backup will be sent.

Test & Manual Tools

Verify your settings by sending a test connection email, or trigger a full backup CSV email immediately.

Gmail SMTP Instructions

Enable 2-Step Verification
Go to your Google Account Security page, log in, locate the section "How you sign in to Google", and make sure 2-Step Verification is turned ON.

Generate App Password
Once 2-Step Verification is active, go directly to the Google App Passwords settings page. Type a descriptive name (e.g. AeroPoint Backup) and click Create.

Copy 16-Character Key
Google will display a yellow dialog containing a unique 16-character app password. Copy it, and paste it into the Gmail App Password field on the left. (Note: any spaces will be automatically removed by the system).

Test and Save
Fill in the Sender Gmail and Recipient Email fields, then click Test Email. Once you verify that the test email arrived in your inbox, click Save Email Settings to activate automated nightly database backups!
